- USES & DESCRIPTION:
These single component heat resistant coatings based on silicone resin with heat resisting pigments are intended for use on surfaces exposed to high temperatures (1200-600℃) and exterior weathering. These coatings are lead and chromate free. Main applications are:
Hearth products, wood burning stoves, fire place inserts, space heaters
Exhaust systems(i.e.: stove exhaust pipes)
Barbecue grills
Lighting fixtures
Mufflers
- FEATURES:
- Excellent heat resistance (up to 1300℃).

- SUBSTARTE PRE-TREATMENT:
- The key factor to prevent the failure is adhesion.
- Proper substrate pretreatment is critical to the performance of high service temperature products. Pretreatment may vary with substrate type and application.
- All oil and grease, as well as scale, must be removed. A 5-stage Iron Phosphate is recommended for optimum performance. For some applications a grit blast may be adequate.
- Remove rust, mill-scale and damaged primer by blasting to ISO Sa2.5 (SSPC-SP10) or by power tooling to ISO St3.0.
- Be sure that the surface is clean and dry prior to application.
- SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
- Avoid skin and eye contact. If paint comes into contact with the skin and the eyes, flush with copious amount of water and seek immediate medical attention.
- Ensure good ventilation. Please keep them away from sparks and open flames.
- Observe all health and safety data on the contai
